Interactive Observation: Qdoba

Got this random e-mail from Qdoba Mexican Grill talking about playing MASH? From middle school?

So I click on it and it's this awesome intro about playing the game and a bit about the food. The point to play was to get a coupon for a free meal, and apparently it's random each time you play.

I was amazed that most of it wasn't about tacos and what not, until you get to the end. But they had a bunch of characters, cars, and jobs that were semi legit just like the old days when you picked your own.

But overall it was a pretty fun activity and I got a lame coupon at the end for a free drink with purchase.

But the best part about it was that I got to play again, and Qdoba was responsible for that, which will always stick out in my head... *INSIGHT*

I'm coming up with something like that in life. I learned about this in some class I've been in; that you don't want to always push a product so hard into what you want to make fun an interactive. It's got to be just enough.
